Charlotte and Martin have so much fun with the giant blocks!

Bath Time

This little girl will spend an hour a night in the tub! I guess it is easy entertainment. Last night she decided to dive under water like 50 times!

Charlotte is getting smarter!

Here is a list of some random things she has said lately!

"Dada, I saw mommy!" She said this as she pointed to a white Honda Odyssey driving down the street.

"Mommy, you have too much stuff!" She said this as she walked passed my overflowing craft closet.

"We need to go pick up baby sister from the Castle." She said this as she looked out the window at the doctors office and pointed to the hospital across the street.

THE NOT SO CLEVER CHARLOTTE!

Me, "Charlotte I need you to go pee in the potty! "

Charlotte, "I don't want to use the potty!"

A minute later, Charlotte, "I peed my pants mommy, I need new pants and panty."

I will add more as I remember.

Cinderella Addict

Charlotte's latest obsession is Cinderella. She loves the movie so much....she will ask to watch it twice in a row. The other night Martin and I were doing stuff around the house and looked over at Charlotte and she was passed out in her chair! So cute!

Christmas Presents

Santa Fail

The other day I was at the mall and the line for Santa was short so I decided to take Charlotte to see him. She was all about playing with the decorations while we were in line to see him. I prepared her by asking what she was gonna ask for...her response was 20 dollars. I have no idea where she got that idea! But the rest of the day she kept saying that everything I picked up was 20 dollars. She is hilarious. Anyhow, as soon as it was her turn to say hello to Santa and sit on his lap, she freaked out! Started crying and wouldn't even let me pick her up or sit next to me by him. I gave her a minute or two but she didn't warm up to him. She wouldn't even get close enough to snap a photo. He handed her a book and she wouldn't even take it from him! I guess at her age that is typical behavior. I was most annoyed because I wasted like 30 minutes and I had to pee the entire time!

Charlotte had so much fun! She even made it part way through a few hikes with us. She got so used to wearing two pants and 4 shirts she keeps asking me to wear two pants at home.

All I want for Christmas is...

a pillow pet!

Talk about good marketing. Charlotte is obsessed with these things. She has left 2 stores crying because I wouldn't buy her a dumb pillow pet! I keep telling her that daddy is going to get her one and she definitely remembers. We don't really buy Christmas presents but I guess we will be this year!

Jeans Hater!

So for the past few months Charlotte has decided she hates jeans of any variety. It all started when I was getting dressed and my pants were too tight. I would put a pair of jeans on and then take them off and try another. If you didn't' know I am pregnant, and I am not one of the crazy skinny people who can wear there same jeans there entire pregnancy. Anyhow, I guess she decided that since my jeans were too tight hers must be too. As soon as I get the jeans out of the drawer she says my pants too tight! So for the past couple of months I have been bribing her into wearing jeans occasionally. Today she decided she wasn't gonna wear the jeans for anything. She was so desperate she figured out how to get her leggings on all by herself. I was very annoyed but at the same time impressed with her strong will. Looks like I am gonna have to be ok with her wearing leggings all winter!

First Day of Gymnastics Class

Today was Charlotte's official first day of gymnastics class. This past weekend I picked up this adorable little leotard for her. I also got her a some zebra shorts. She had a lot of fun. She wasn't the best listener but she did well. She loves the trampoline and pit. She was really good at crawling across the parallel bars and stretching.

Blue!

Charlotte was Blue from Blue's Clues. It is her favorite show. She loved trick or treating. She tried to go into the first 3 houses we went to but after that she got the hang of it. We went around the block once and she came home with a full bucket!

Fall Festival

Charlotte rode a train, saw a bunch of animals, played on the playground, and ran in a mini corn maze. It was a blast. It is just down the street so we may go again!

Splash Pad

After storytime Friday we went to the splash pad at the mall. Charlotte loves water! She likes to sit on top of the water. Also after a while she decided to pretend to take a nap on the steps! Dork!

The Kite Festival!

Last weekend we went to the Berkley Kite Festival. Charlotte had a blast flying her octopus kite. Believe it or not this picture was early in the day and later there was about twice as many kites in the air.

Charlotte Turns 2!

Charlotte love the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. So her birthday was themed after the movie. We had movie poster decorations, food from the movie and a fox mask craft. We also went swimming because she loves to swim! I am not gonna label all the picture so have fun looking at them. A special thanks to Annie for taking them!
