Baking in the Backyard

So it has gotten a little cooler lately. Like maybe the low 100s. Charlotte and I decided to try out the backyard. She had so much fun playing with buckets of water, swinging in her swing and trying to climb up her slide. As you can see I had to keep spraying everything off and wetting her down to prevent us from baking out there!

Walking fool!

Charlotte has been walking for about a month now. She has recently mastered walking with shoes. She is just a cute little person now. It is adorable!

Little Tiny Black Dress

Last night I decided to make Charlotte a black dress. This was like at 11:30 pm. Charlotte was asleep in her room and none of her dress were lying around. I just estimated that she was about 20" around. I was right but didn't leave any extra room for her. LOL This morning I got the dress stuck on her head! I ended up having to go bottom up to squeeze her into it. When she sits down the dress goes up to her hips. I bet it will fit a 3 month old just perfect not a 1 year old. Oh well I guess i will just have to try again.

This picture cracks me up. She has her dads keys and credit card in her hands, she is a fast learner!

Charlotte Party

Charlotte is now 1 year old! We had a party at our house to celebrate the big day. The house was full of kids and parents. Of course she got lots of great toys, books and clothes. She loved her cupcake.







Charlotte is walking here and there but not everywhere. She is trying to talk. She has 5 teeth and is working on more. Charlotte loves to eat yogurt, oatmeal, cheese, bread, fruit, and cereal puffs. She likes to push things around the house and play with her puppy KC. Her favorite books are the ones with stuff to touch and feel and flip pages. Her favorite color is orange!

Cincinnati Visit

This past weekend we attended Gene Henry's(Martin's Grandfather) funeral in Cincinnati. The weather was beautiful. We went on walks and spent time with the family. Charlotte had fun zooming around in a box and playing with her grandmas. She has become a the master traveler. She sleeps and plays well on planes.
